Rivian R1S camping setup with Attachable SUV Tent

#rivian #rivianr1s #camping #rivianr1t The sunset and views from our campsite at Moro Campground at Crystal Cove State Park was amazing and the setup with the attachable SUV tent and 2 Exped mattresses is perfect for our family of 4. We did a review of the tent here:    • Offroading Gear SUV Tent Review   Unfortunately, we found out our Rivian's HVAC has issues. We put it in Camp Mode, but overnight, the interior would not heat up. It got down to as low as 50 degrees inside while the climate was set at 70. The next morning, when trying to run the AC, a loud fan noise would be coming from front windshield area, but absolutely no air was coming out of any of the vents. And then, we received a system failure error service immediately message on the screen. Fortunately, we were still able to drive home and the error message went away once we let the car sleep for a few hours. We created a Rivian service ticket immediately and got scheduled for an appointment in few weeks. Hopefully Rivian service fixes this issue as we are not comfortable taking the Rivian camping with a faulty HVAC system and receiving system failure messages. Thanks for watching!
