Back in 2007, gas prices were beginning to soar past $4 bucks a gallon and #Toyota needed an inexpensive and fuel sipping new compact car to replace the old Toyota Echo. Over the years, as buyers gravitated to SUV's, the #Yaris got very little changes and profits are low in the sub-compact car segment. Toyota then went to Mazda for help and since the company does not sell the #Mazda2 in the states anymore and the result is a Mazda2 based #YarisSedan.
