At our 2025 Partners for Positive Change event, we celebrated the lives being transformed through education, community, and opportunity and unveiled an exciting new chapter in our organization's story. Formerly Helping Hands for Single Moms Dallas, we officially introduced our new name: Single Mom Scholars Dallas. In this special video, you'll hear directly from several remarkable moms whose lives have been impacted through the program. From navigating college while raising children alone to overcoming financial hardship, housing challenges, and life's unexpected obstacles, their stories are a powerful testament to resilience, determination, and the impact of a community that believes in them. Through wraparound support, mentorship, monthly stipends, emergency assistance, family enrichment opportunities, and a network of encouragement, Single Mom Scholars empowers single mothers to earn their college degrees, achieve financial independence, build a family legacy, and elevate their communities.
