How Spirituality Fixes ALL Your Problems FULL COURSE | 2020 Archive

Back in 2019, I started my spiritual journey, and I quit in 2025. I went from basic, "feel-good" spiritual wisdom, devotional music, and social gatherings to the hardcore, non-dual, and purest forms of spiritual philosophies from Nisargadatta, Ramana Maharshi, Ashtavakra, Lao Tzu, Zen, UG Krishnamurti, J Krishnamurti, Osho, and many more. This six-year journey took a heavy toll on my mental health, and I started to question my sanity. Ultimately, in January 2025, I took the decision to abandon it all—even though it was extremely difficult, as this knowledge had become my blood and bone. Spirituality is not for me anymore; it did not help me live the "good life" that I personally aspire to, and instead, it led me astray. Since then, I have been working very hard on myself to unlearn, reprogram, and feel grounded and safe in my own mind. I would not recommend anyone to pursue religious and philosophical studies, as they can lead to a nihilistic doom of the self. A person can lose their sanity if they are not properly guided. In this course, you will learn how to overcome all emotional problems from the perspective of spirituality. However, I now feel that spirituality first sells you a problem (that feels real) and then sells you a solution (their system). It works just like a corporation: creating demand through fear and selling the solution as hope. Looking back, I see this journey as a waste of time. It did give me some maturity and a deeper understanding of life, but that too is subjective. I can now say that religion and philosophy are a bunch of bullshit that leads nowhere. I no longer believe in these ideas, but this is my very old work, and there could still be some insights that can help you. Video by Aman Varma, Psychologist. Subscribe for more content.
