In the second half of the 20th century, the Intourist Hotel was opened, and the construction of the House of Projects was completed. Near Sarzhin Yar, a sports complex of the Burevestnik society was erected with a huge stadium for 15 thousand spectators and several sports halls for various sports. It was at this time that Nauki Avenue went beyond the borders of Sarzhin Yar, through which the bridge was laid, and extended to the Alekseevka housing estate (Pavlovo Pole). The western part of the avenue houses the Institute of Low Temperature Physics and Technology, the only specialized cryogenic institute in Ukraine...
