He Missed Every Friday Night Game… and Still Made the NFL

Davion Taylor’s journey to the NFL is unlike anything you’ve heard before. Raised in Mississippi as a Commandment Keeper, Davion could not play Friday night high school football because of the Sabbath. Despite never playing a traditional high school football schedule, he fought his way through junior college, earned a scholarship to the University of Colorado, became All-Pac-12, and eventually got drafted in the 3rd round by the Philadelphia Eagles.
