Warcraft III: Rise of the Sheep 03 - It's Not Easy Being Green

In this, the Mad Wizard Bobius Bobman and his Sheep Army must travel to Stone Hoofpeak for a meeting with his therapist. Thoughts - Oh man, this map has a lot of issues, and I will say the slapstick humour is kinda getting a bit too much for me now. I am thankful this campaign has just one more mission to go. This mission has you fighting freaking Bill Gates and George W. Bush while making some pretty outdated references about Microsoft and Xbox and Florida elections. It can be funny I guess, but at times the dialogue is a bit too much and the cutscenes get a bit too long lol. Humour aside though, from a technical aspect this is a pretty buggy map. I still can't build farms from Spirit Sheep which led to me having to build multiple Town Halls to get food to build an army, otherwise I was stuck at 12 supply. When you upgrade the Town Hall to a Stronghold, the upgrade for Abolish Magic goes away if you hadn't researched that yet, which means to research that you need to build another town hall. The Spitting Sheep's Web Upgrade don't seem to work even after I upgrade them? The ability is still disabled. The Lockbox is interesting, but all of its abilities either don't work because they are tied to upgrades I can't do like Frost Breath and Frost Armour or they are useless like storing Corpses. We don't have any necromancers, what are the corpses even for? The timer doesn't pause during the cutscenes when you meet Bill Gates. Its like a 2-3 minute long cutscene that just wastes time unless you skip it or do it AFTER destroying the Gyrocopter. After the arena waves, the next wave doesn't reliably progress and has a lot of delay, I don't know if it just waits a bit of time or if you have to walk to the end of the corridor? I noticed this in the previous level too but why are all the effects on Shaun so HUGE? What is the point of all the wasted space in the bottom part of the map below the river? There is nothing there apart from a lone Moonwell... Where the heck is Bob? And where are my cool psychadelic mushroom items? They were removed from this mission for some reason... Whats the point of the secret in the previous chapter then if they are taken away from you this mission? All these negatives aside though, I will say LOVE the creativity of this level, even if the humour can be super hit and miss. I absolutely adored the Arena section and the waves you have to fight through, it was all pretty well done. Although the Lockbox is way more cool in item format than the unit, because it has so many freaking auras. I almost wish I didn't turn it in lol. I also like that the password "Greenpeas" you actually have to type in to unlock the door from the back, but I decided to just go through the front door and destroy everything lol, because lets be real thats more fun! Overall, still a very cool map if we ignore all the myriad of bugs I listed lol.
