My 2003 GMC Yukon needed catalytic converters, but I wasn't about to spend hundreds of dollars replacing them. Instead, I decided to try something I wasn't even sure would work: swapping the complete Y-pipe and catalytic converters from my 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe 4WD onto my 2003 GMC Yukon 2WD. Along the way, I also upgraded the Yukon with a barely-used set of Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires that I found on Facebook Marketplace for just $400, then finished everything off with a wash to get it one step closer to being ready for its next owner.
