Elektronik - gar nicht so schwer: Die Meißnersche Rückkopplungsschaltung

After briefly examining the mechanical oscillations of a pendulum, an attempt is made to generate electrical oscillations using a charged capacitor as an energy carrier. The experiment fails when the capacitor is connected to a resistor. While connecting a capacitor and an inductor to form a resonant circuit produces the desired effect, the oscillations are unfortunately damped and short-lived. However, it is possible to compare them with the mechanical oscillations from the beginning and identify commonalities. The circuit devised by Alexander Meißner undamps the oscillations, allowing them to be generated continuously. It is built using both a vacuum tube and a transistor, just like the original circuit.
