40s 50s Wirral in colour
Beginning at Parkgate, this lovely film takes us to Burton, Port Sunlight, West Kirby, we follow a cycle race through Thurstaston, Arrow Park, Irby Village, Black Horse Hill and back to Thurstaston for the finish. Finally we visit the 'Wirral Archers' near Barnston, all in lovely colour cine film. The clips are taken from the Angus Tilston MBE Archive Collection.
