BRITISH RAILWAYS IN THE 1990's Llandudno Junction and Station on 30th March 1995 Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of Llandudno Junction and station filmed from just beside the busy road overbridge offering a splendid view of Conwy Castle and the signalbox. What was a very pleasant albeit a bit windy day for the end of March I witnessed several class 37s on Crewe to Holyhead and return services. A ballast was seen in both directions with a pair of class 31s and a light pair of 31s. HST's were also seen and ending up with a view from the station platforms. The green class 101 DMU (101685) made 2 appearances. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories.
