Reactivating the Gluteus Maximus to avoid synergistic dominance of the hamstrings

The gluteus maximus primary function is hip extension, but can become compromised through poor posture. When this happens, the hamstrings can become overactive and take over during hip extension. This regressed technique will allow the gluteus maximus to reactivate to fire during hip extension. Be sure to follow my Facebook page at Dirk Timm Personal Training.
