So far, an initial shipment of 22 tons of humanitarian aid has been sent by air. However, nearly 60 additional tons remain in warehouses in Surco, where they continue to be sorted and prepared for future shipments via additional humanitarian flights and other transportation options. Through social media, thousands of Venezuelans have expressed their gratitude to Peru, stating that they never imagined receiving such a large and spontaneous show of solidarity.
