I Tried Selling Wall Decor on Etsy for One Year (Realistic Results)

I sold personalized wall decor on Etsy for one full year — and in this video, I want to honestly show you what happened. I will share why we chose this product, how we launched the store, what results we got, what mistakes I made, and what actually worked. When I was starting, I had the same questions many Etsy beginners have: Is Etsy already too saturated? Is it too late to find a new product that can still sell well? And how do you know if a product is really worth launching? My name is Arthur Grant. Since 2023, my partner Vitaliy and I have been making custom decor in Canada and selling it on Etsy. Before this store, we had already tested other products. Some worked, and some did not. But many of our old products were too cheap. For example, acrylic lamps usually sold for around $30 to $40. The product was fine, and we still sell it, but after Etsy fees, ads, production, packaging, and shipping, the profit was too small. So we started looking for a product that was more unique, more expensive, and still possible for us to produce ourselves. That is how we discovered personalized wooden wall decor and kids room name signs. In this video, I show the full story: Why we chose wooden nursery wall decor How we used Etsy research and AI to create product ideas Why our first month had zero sales How Etsy Ads helped us get the first orders Why we turned ads off and focused on organic traffic What happened when the store started growing The pricing mistake that cost us profit Why sales dropped after we stopped adding new listings What I would do differently today How our Etsy Print On Demand partner program works One of the biggest lessons from this experiment is that a product does not have to be completely new to work. In many cases, the best strategy is to find something people already want — and make your own better version. Another big lesson is that Etsy stores do not grow forever on autopilot. Every new high-quality listing is a new entry point into your shop. If you stop improving the store, sales can slow down. If you want to sell personalized wall decor on Etsy without buying machines, materials, or opening your own workshop, you can become our Etsy Print On Demand partner. You create the Etsy store, prepare listings, send us designs for approval, and when you get an order, we make the product and ship it directly to your customer. It fails because the seller quits too early. Thanks for watching, and see you in the next video.
