Helping disabled gamers play Minecraft
This teenage girl has helped bring Minecraft to millions of severely disabled people. Becky Tyler has worked with Special Effect, a UK charity to develop a platform to allow almost anyone to control Microsoft’s block-building game with just their eyes. Video games are played by billions of people across the world - but for those with severe physical disabilities using a normal console is often impossible. We went to meet Becky and Ajay, both helped by Special Effect to allow them to play games like Minecraft, Call of Duty and FIFA - and spoke to them about how this new technology is opening up their world and why gaming is so important to them.
