Soldiers of the 128th separate heavy mechanized brigade “Dyke Pole” held a position in the basement of a destroyed village, adjusted drones and fought with the Russians. The soldiers kept in touch with their relatives through audio messages, which the command recorded via walkie-talkie. For 304 days at the position, the men cut their hair with scissors from a first-aid kit, sometimes “fed” only on tea and coffee for several days, and their closest “neighbors” were pheasants. Recently, Igor returned to his native village of Studinka, Kalushka community, where his parents and daughter were waiting for him.
