FCC Implements New RF Safety Rules. How To Evaluate Your Amateur Radio Station RF Exposure Level
As of May 3, 2021, the FCC has changed the requirements for Amateur Radio RF output evaluation. This video attempts to address the issues and demonstrates one of the mathematical calculation methods to evaluate your station's emissions put forth in FCC OET Bulletin 65. This shows a demonstration of a mobile installation evaluation. Future videos will address Base VHF and HF stations. If you are concerned or just curious about these changes and what you need to do to comply, this video is for you.
