5 Things To Know About homeschooling while full time RV living

We have always homeschooled, but now that we are "roadschooling," it comes with its own set of challenges! We have found five significant things that are worth mentioning to anyone thinking about homeschooling or roadschooling. In this episode, Stephanie explains how we home school in an RV and how to overcome the most common challenges. Our most obvious challenge is space. We live in an RV. Space is limited and that gets even more complicated, the more children you have. Siblings who are not yet in school are also a complication to homeschooling in an rv. You have to find activities for them and a place for them to do that activity in. While being on the road, all the fun things to do can become a real distraction from our school and that is a huge obstacle. Self doubt as a homeschooling mom is probably a challenge that all homeschool moms face but being on the road makes it even more intense for me. And lastly, not having a community is a huge thing for us. We are learning to go solo really well but it is something that I do struggle with.
