Xenosaga Episode 1 HD Walkthrough Part 1

Events: Prologue Kosmos Activation Test Part 1 Hey everyone, we are very pleased to welcome you to our Xenosaga Ep1 walkthrough! I have been eying this game for a walkthrough for quite a while but I was not able to do one due to hardware limitations. With this new computer though, the sky seems to be the limit. Note that the quality will massively improve at around the episode 45 to 50 range. This is when I got my new PSU and was able to go to 1820x720 for the recording resolution. Any parts before then are recorded at our custom 640x380 resolution for emulation. I was also able to up the scaling to x3 in the better quality parts. Since this is being played in hardware mode there are some graphical issues like the lines around the NPC models in the world and lines on the face. Nothing I could do about this as software mode completely lags out in this game even with the 4.6Ghz clock. There are also a few slow downs here and there, but they are not wide spread except for certain tech attacks like Thermal Blast for Shion. Anyway, lets get into the description. The game starts out in the past where some archiologists digging somewhere in Kenya uncover a mysterious artifact. Fast forward to the present, some 4000 years later. We are Shion Uzuki, a women under the employment of a powerful corporation known as Vector Industries. She is the chief of the first division for the Kosmos project, a project designed to create an anti-Gnosis weapon. They have been stationed on the Woglinde, a Federation cruiser, by Vector HQ in order to field test Kosmos and obtain some actual field data. Up until now they have only used simulations in testing Kosmos' theoretical abilities. After the Encephalon is fully loaded test battles are undertaken to familiarize the player with the controls and then a battle simulation is loaded on Shion's request.
