He returns once again to discuss the publication of his powerful book, "What I Hated About Islam When I Was a Muslim." This autobiographical work is a personal account, a diary. The author recounts his childhood and adolescence as a young French Muslim. He describes the educational and religious environment in which he grew up. The book also explores his personal, intellectual, and spiritual journey. This journey led him to distance himself from and ultimately leave Islam upon reaching adulthood. The book contains radical critiques of the religion he practiced. These critiques are based both on his personal experience and on his analysis of the texts. Indeed, the book follows on from his previous works, notably "100 Contradictions and Scientific Errors in the Quran." With courage, the author addresses issues related to faith, religious transmission, and freedom of conscience.
