Mid-August. Driving my Jimny along a winding road past Kijima Plateau from the Yufuin Interchange, I arrived at the secluded Yufugawa Gorge. A hidden summer paradise! I headed upstream to catch a glimpse of the "chockstone," but the water level was quite high!
