This talk presents the FHIR Terminology Service, beginning with the different usage scenarios for implementing it – from clinical data entry, to analytics, to authoring your own terminology resources. This includes defining terminology bindings for profiles and implementation guides as well as integrating terminology when building other kinds of FHIR servers. The session also covers the different sections of the Terminology API, and how they can be used to help you solve these problems. Finally, it also reviews some of the governance issues you should consider.
