A RE:CONSTRUCTED set is a long way removed from a standard DJ set. Here's how it works. I take hundreds of tracks from my music library, painstakingly deconstruct them (using Ai if needed to separate elements from the original tracks), and then piece everything back together to create a deeply immersive musical story. I use Ableton Live and multiple controllers to trigger up to 16 individual channels of audio at any one time during the performance, and also perform live keyboard overdubs. The end result is compulsive and compelling blend of music that's often new, often familiar but always unique. I hope you enjoy the ride.
