VW Travel Assist: WORTH IT Over Standard Adaptive Cruise Control?

Adaptive cruise control is included on all trim levels of the Volkswagen ID.3 and other MEB-based cars in the UK. It's a very comprehensive system which can slow down for intersections, automatically adjust to speed limits, and much more! However, if you are looking for the car to do even more of the driving for you, the Travel Assist (part of the Assistance pack plus) bring even more features focused on making long journeys more comfortable with active lane centring and automated lane changes on motorways, among other things such as blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.
