On day 9 of our bikepacking trip from Ninh Binh to Sapa we cycled around the stunning Hoa Binh lake and, after more steep hills, beautiful waterfalls and even cycling past a big snake on the road, headed to the Bo Am hot springs hidden in the countryside, which we somehow ended up having just for ourselves.
