This villa homestay set in an orchard came recommended. Since then, we have returned twice again to the endearing hospitality of its owner, Charles Baptist, who personally leaves no stone unturned to ensure his guests enjoy a refreshing Chikmaglur experience. On this visit to film a Gourmet On The Road series in coffee town, we camped here and left only after partaking a delicious Malenadu brunch, highlights of which included a tender jackfruit curry, tasty Malnad chicken, kadak fish fry and a surprising bottle gourd payasa.
