Sunil share’s how his mother a teacher herself used to do two jobs just to raise a family of 4 on her own. Sunil shared how he was so scared of English in school he failed in his class twice because of English. Once he went to an Interview to be a teacher in a school nearby and the principal humiliated him and rejected him to for his lack of good English pronunciation. In that anger and desperation Sunil shares how he went to Hyderabad alone with no hopes or dreams but just to learn English. To earn money he used to distribute pamphlets to students in the morning and paste posters of film stars in the night. While going through that difficult phase Sunil one day encountered a pamphlet of a teacher who teaches spoken and written English. He went to that teacher in the hopes of studying English and after 2 years Sunil not only became better at English but he also started his own institute with the name of Pragya Spoken English నా పేరు సునీల్ గవాస్కర్, నేను ఒక మిడిల్ క్లాస్ ఫామిలీ లో రాజముండ్రి లో పుట్టి పెరిగాను, నాతో పాటు మా ఫామిలీ లో నలుగురు, మా అమ్మ గారి Teacher జీతం మీద ఆధార పడి ఉన్నాము. మా ఫ్యామిలీని పోషించడానికి మా అమ్మగారు రెండు చోట్ల Teacher గా పని చేసే వారు. నాకు ఇంగ్లీష్ అంటే పరమ భయం ఉండేది, అందువలన, రెండు సార్లు పరీక్షల లో ఫెయిల్ ఐయ్యాను. ఎలాగో అలాగా చదువు కంప్లీట్ చేసి Teacher గ ఇంటర్వ్యూ కి వెలితే నాకు english రాక పోవడం వలన చాలా హ్యూమిలియేట్ చేసి పంపించేశారు దానితొహ్ నిరాశచెంది ఎలాగైనా ఇంగ్లీష్ నేర్చుకోవాలని పట్టుదల తో ఒక్కడినే హైద్రాబాదు వచ్చేసాను. హైదరాబాద్ ఐతే వచ్చాను గాని, తినడానికి తిండి లేక, బస్సు స్టాప్ లో పడుకుని ఒక రెండు రోజులు గడిపిన తరువాత పోస్టర్లు అంటించడం, పంఫ్లేట్లు పంచి పెట్టడం లాంటి పనులు చేసి కొన్ని రోజులు గడిపాను. ఆ తరువాత పంఫ్లేట్లు పంచి పెడుతూవుండగా ఒక పంఫ్లేట్ చదివి అది english నేర్పే ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్ అని తెలుసుకుని వాళ్ళని కలిసాను. అక్కడనించి నా జీవితమే మారిపోయింది. అక్కడ english నేర్చుకుని, తిరిగి రాజముండ్రి వచ్చి అక్కడ చిన్న ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్ ప్రారంభించాను.
