Michigan Conditioning
Kim Barnes Arico, head women's basketball coach at the University of Michigan, describes one of her conditioning drills at the 2014 Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan Coaches Clinic in Lansing, Michigan. Note: Athletes run as solos (half-court, back, full-court, back, half-court, back, free throw line, back) or pairs (each runs half-court, back, full-court, back). You set the guidelines: How long do they have to complete the sprint? How many sprints do they have to run? Give your team 15 seconds between sprints to determine new solos and pairs.
