Fixing Cooling Issues On A Small Outboard Motor
After long periods of full-throttle my Yamaha 2,5 HP would overheat so I decided to take it apart and check out what is wrong. After taking off the lower section I found that the impeller housing was full of molten plastic. after removing the molten plastic I put the motor back together. After using a drill to poke through the little telltale hole the cooling system was back to working like a charm
