After the release of "Guest from the Future," millions of children dreamed of riding one at least once. They played space pirates in their yards, drew Flips in their notebooks, and tried to build them out of cardboard and construction sets. It seemed that this is exactly what the transport of the future would one day look like. But few people know that only five actual Flips existed. These weren't drawings or mockups for photographs. Five full-size vehicles were actually built for filming. Each of them cost a fortune, and their fate remains one of the most fascinating mysteries of Soviet cinema. What kind of cameras were they?
