Amidst the growing number of budaejjigae franchises, this restaurant has steadily carved its own unique path, offering great value for money. Uniquely, this restaurant is run by a mother-in-law and son-in-law. The son-in-law was in the kitchen, while the mother-in-law was in the hall, serving customers. The son-in-law was an exceptional cook, and the mother-in-law was incredibly kind to the guests. It was a place where everyone was doing their best. Many restaurants serving budaejjigae (army stew) only serve two or more, but this one was great because it also allowed single orders. With the rise of solo diners, this restaurant welcomes them with open arms. They mainly serve the basic Eoheung Budaejjigae and the spicy Eoheung Budaejjigae. I heard the Eoheung Budaejjigae is spicier than Shin Ramyun, so I ordered the basic Eoheung Budaejjigae. I added a piping hot, fluffy steamed egg in a clay pot, and added everything from brisket, assorted sausages, ham, sausages, boiled dumplings, rice cakes, glass noodles, and ramen noodles. It was a delightful time, allowing me to fully experience the charm of budaejjigae, often called the "beauty of noodles." The meal was even more delicious thanks to the four delicious side dishes: salty, savory, and light seasoned tofu stew, savory stir-fried fish cakes, crunchy and refreshing cubed radish kimchi, and palate-cleansing white kimchi. Not only did I get a filling meal with unlimited refills of ramen noodles and rice, but the food was also delicious. For a big eater like me, it was the perfect value for money restaurant. Oh, my!
