BMW R1250R SE 2021 - 10,000 Miles Owners Review
Can't quite believe that I've hit 10,000 miles on this bike already... especially since according to the PCP schedule I shouldn't be hitting 8,000 miles until March next year 🤣 At least the coming winter will slow things down now... Correction at around the seven-minute mark... I said I took a trip up North and went as high as Chesire "near the Scottish Border"... I meant to say Carlisle! Another correction at about 22.50... I talk about the Max preload raising the rear ride height. That's not quite accurate I guess; more like the bike does not drop as much at the back when you sit on it and ride, compared to Auto mode and therefore you feel like you are sat higher. And another one! I'm not so sure that the bike is sliding the rear quite as much as I think it is... I think the rubber being laid down might just be a combination of the soft rubber, high tyre temperature and the weight of the bike + rider. Need an expert opinion on this. Still impressive looking though! Also worth noting are my dimensions lol... I'm 5'7" (170cm), about 73kg 161kg) and have a 32" inside leg. Owning the BM has been pretty much a totally positive experience - it's not perfect (nothing is) but I'm so glad I bought this Absolute Unit of a bike lol Thanks for bringing this bike in @bmwmotorrad_uk I'm looking forward to what comes next! This video was going to be even longer! I was going to talk about what bike I might want next, and if I didn't buy another bike what I'd do to this one if I had the money. Maybe I'll keep that lot for another video 😊 Timestamps: 0:00 Intro 0:49 How did we get here? 3:16 Any initial concerns following the purchase? 3:57 Bike build quality & construction 5:32 The R1250R fork sticker story 6:48 Heated gips 7:17 Seat comfort (Correction: I went up to Carlisle, not Chesire!) 8:50 Vibration (and footrest rubbers) 9:45 Other build quality comments 11:26 Instruments & 13:24 Fuel Consumption 13:49 Accessories fitted 21:42 Electronic Suspension and Rider Modes 25:38 Wheelies and power slides! 27:21 What do I like the most about this machine 32:35 Gearbox 33:42 Running costs & tyres 35:16 Linked brakes 37:13 Keyless ride battery 37:44 Screens 38:58 Summing up, thanks for watching!

BMW's R1250R a bike that is often overlooked! So I took it out for a ride.
