Aircraft Primer - Balancing Time, Weight, and Money (Ep9)

As you can see in the comment section already, there's a reason discussions on aircraft primer in the homebuilt world are known as "primer wars". It's a controversial topic. There's many different opinions on primer vs. zinc chromate (or now zinc phosphate). There's even more opinions on whether primer is even needed or not. I've heard all the arguments since the way back in 2011 when I started building my Van RV-7. Before you add your 'opinion' in the comment section remember-I'm only explaining what I'm doing on MY airplane.
