We're doing excellent work at the Laterza municipal dog shelter. The restroom is practically empty, and even the shelter's occupancy is visibly decreasing. This work requires effort and time taken away from our lives and our families. Then, because of those who haven't yet understood that births CAN BE PREVENTED, more dogs are entering the shelter in a single day than have left in recent months. The sad thing is, we're not at all sure they've understood. The puppies in this video are currently unavailable for adoption. We're waiting a month before offering them up, hoping most of them survive. In the shelter, if one gets sick, all the others get sick. The mange, which affects both mothers and puppies, cannot currently be cured because the drugs on the market are toxic to young puppies and are passed through the mothers' milk.
