Unravel Yarn Festival 2026 | Farnham Maltings UK Yarn Haul & Vlog

Hello fellow yarn lovers! 🧶✨ Welcome to Unravel – Festival of Yarn, which took place at Farnham Maltings! We travelled 5 hours to get there (we didn’t drive down the same day — thank goodness! 😅) and let me tell you… this event was HUGE. The rooms of vendors genuinely felt never-ending — every corner we turned there was more yarn, more colour, more beautiful samples, and more temptation. It was incredibly busy (like shoulder-to-shoulder at times!), but the atmosphere was amazing. So many talented indie dyers, designers and fellow yarn lovers all in one place — it really did feel like such a special community event. Now let’s talk about the not-so-glamorous part… parking. 😅 Parking was honestly horrendous. It was so stressful trying to find a space, and after the long journey the last thing we expected was to end up with a parking fine! Yes… we got a parking ticket 🙃 Not exactly the souvenir we were hoping to bring home from Unravel! So if you’re planning to go in future, definitely double check parking rules and give yourself extra time. Despite the little drama, I still managed to treat myself (of course I did!) because how could you not at a festival like this? The quality and variety of yarn was just incredible. I especially couldn’t resist the yarn from Mamie and Florrie. There was the most gorgeous shawl displayed on their stand and it completely filled me with inspiration. You know when you see a sample and immediately start planning colours and stitches in your head? That was me.
