Sinterklaasintochten door de jaren heen

The arrival of Sinterklaas is a long tradition. Many different Sints have come and gone. In this film, you will see an overview of Sints and their Head Petes. Corrections and additions: In Het Vrije Volk of November 11, 1960, you read that student Ruding (the later minister) was Sint in 1960, and not Dick van Bommel. Jaap van Maarleveld was only Head Pete in 1965. In 1966, there was a local Head Pete from Harlingen. In 1967, the role of Piet Römer began. Will van Selst is also missing. He was Head Pete in 1977 at the arrival in Scheveningen. He was cremated in Driehuis Westerveld in 2009. With thanks to Matthijs Franken from pepernoten.com Gerard de Klerk was buried on Aug 20, 2003 in Amsterdam at the Nieuwe Ooster 27-3-186 With thanks to André Evers Many people limit walking through cemeteries to holidays abroad. I watch a lot of videos about burial grounds, but Dutch cemeteries and churchyards get shortchanged. I hope this series fills a gap.
