After covering Penumbra and SOMA, we had to make a video on Amnesia! So here we are: a five-and-a-half-hour longplay where we meticulously explore every dark corner of Castle Brennenburg, leaving no stone unturned. What makes Amnesia truly special is how it instills a deep sense of unease while playing. The older I get, the more uncomfortable I feel—the narrative depth and intricate details hit differently now than they did when I was younger. The atmospheric tension, oppressive darkness, and relentless dread are masterfully executed. And of course, the monsters, with their deep, bellowing growls and eerie mechanical sounds, will suddenly emerge from the shadows—and start chasing. To give you the best experience, we're using the remastered version of Amnesia, available on ModDB (link below). Important note: The mod itself is no longer supported, but it’s still playable using the Steam version of the game. However, there’s a softlock—the elevator ride after the Back Halls can become an endless loop. If you run into this issue, we’ve linked a fix in the description.
