Remembering Lou Trebar, September 19, 2008
Farewell to Lou Trebar one of the last great Polka performers who brought the music to it's height of popularity in the 40's and 50's and who was part of the Johnny Pecon Orchestra as well as the Miskulin - Trebar "Mis tre" band and the Jeff Pecon Band. In this clip Lou performs with the Frank Yankovic Orchestra as 'Lojza" with his half chromatic accordion. Taken in 1984 at the St. Clair Ave. Slovenian Home. They are playing the "Strabane Polka" and the Mis-Tre Polka" in this clip.
