Bohemian Rhapsody Animatic

Kristy Young (Age 18) Materials; Photoshop, Photostory, pencil, scanner, light board, Windows Movie Maker Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" is a song with many interpretations. In my version of the song, a man by the name of Oedipus (named for his unnatural attachment to the Virgin Mary, whose statue he honors in a makeshift altar in his bathroom) who is being put to death for a murder he committed earlier in his life. As he is being forced into the electric chair by his sadistic guard, he begins to have a vision of Heaven. From there on is your own interpretation. The format is an animatic, or an Animation Storyboard including bits of finished animation. It consists of over 180 frames, using a light board to copy the original frames and a scanner and computer to compile and edit them. The video was edited using Windows Movie Maker.
