Installing the single port benjamin soldered valve
/ nwairguns A lot of people have trouble installing new valve parts into an old Benjamin or Sheridan soldered valve air rifle. I have trouble myself. So, based on a demonstration by Tim McMurray of Mac1 Airgun Shop, hopefully this video will make it a bit easier for the home airgun mechanic to get his/her rifle back in trim. Note that the valve retainer nut has a beveled side and a flat side. The beveled side goes forward, flat to the rear UNLESS the threads are buggered up, in which case you have to reverse the nut.
