Over almost half a century, I've had the chance to meet many amazing people. One of them was Alexander Demeshko, drummer for the iconic Soviet band Pesnyary. I regret not writing a book about him because I was young and foolish. Now, in exile, I can recall some bright moments from the past and burst into tears.
