Homolovi State Park is a couple of miles from Winslow, Arizona which you might remember from the song by the Eagles, "Take it Easy". Aside from that, Homolovi State Park has pueblo ruins, trails, large campsites, and wandering free range burros and cows. What we love about Homolovi State Park: 1. Large, spacious campsites 2. Amazing sunrises and sunsets 3. Burros, cows, and bunnies 4. Historical ruins 5. An old cemetery 6. Close to Winslow, Arizona 7. Other things to do: Petrified Forest National Park and the Painted Desert, Meteor Crater 8. Verizon works 9. Trails What we didn't love about Homolovi State Park: Nothing to add here! We enjoyed our stay. Next stop: Dead Horse Ranch State Park
