First time ever on track. MX5 Turbo | Forge Castle Combe 2016 I took my daily driven MX5 roadcar with full interior (even a CD player!) for my first go around a track. I went for an alignment a few days before, but the camber bolts couldn't be moved so it meant I was stuck with what it had, which wasn't ideal at all. Was supposed to be the 16:00 session but ended up being 16:15 by the time we got out. Laugh at all the missed apexes and probably too much braking all you like, I still had lots of fun. The point of the video was to learn from mistakes. It was sessions so no overtaking on corners - which I have no complaints about as there's a varied mix of new people (like myself) and vets. I managed a 1:23 on my second lap which is a fairly respectable time.
