Shere Thu Thuy - It's only you [Offical 80's MTV Music Video]

This video was one of two of Shere's earlier videos, which appeared on MTV music video shows. The other video which appeared on MTV was called, " Bring my heart to light". This was in the mid-80s when the New wave generation was at its pinnacle. Shere's appearance on MTV helped boost her music career and put her on the map to success. This was around 1986 to1987 when, Euro and Italo disco was also gaining popularity with the Vietnamese. And even-though Shere's success was acknowledged by the American music industry, her new wave sound was rejected by the Vietnamese "music industry". And the majority of Vietnamese did not Listen to FM radio stations or watch MTV or VH1 music videos back then. Nevertheless, Shere continued to create new wave music. And the demand for Shere's music with the American audience opened many doors with appearances on FM Radio stations throughout Southern California. In addition to Shere's radio air plays , MTV, VH1, and tours. This also gave to the success of her record-breaking sale of her four vinyl original music albums in the 80s. BTW!
