Origami - Boite Fleur de Tomoko Fuse - Flower Box [Senbazuru]

This week, we're featuring this flower box by Tomoko Fuse, which would make a great gift idea (or gift wrapping idea!) for Mother's Day! It's a modular origami project that requires eight sheets of paper: four for the box and four for the lid, all the same size (here, I used eight 15cm squares). Like all modular origami, it takes a little time to fold everything, but it's not too difficult. For the box, if your paper is a bit stiff, remove the first flap of paper that's folded upwards in the video by cutting it out; otherwise, you might have a lot of trouble sliding the modules together for assembly. If your paper is quite thin, follow the video instructions. Happy folding! The music in the video is "Get Outside!" by Jason Farnham.
