Hey guys we are in Akron Ohio at one of my former stomping grounds, Chapel Hill Mall. I had to go back to see what has changed since I was last here around 2014. It was once a vibrant colorful mall- while not in the greatest area with declining quality of clientele and even some violent incidents toward the end. From 1967-2021 it was a mall. Afterwards, it became an industrial space for various businesses. I’m glad the structure was kept. The hi light light by far was going inside the former macys turned storage of America! There were back rooms and a peek into the former mall. I even caught a glimpse of the classic clouds painted on the ceiling. Here I dive into the history of the mall.
