7 Study Tips to get you through Optometry School | Nguyening Visions Ep 2

Undergrads have it easy. They have the freedom to choose which classes to take, when to take the classes, and how to take them every semester. Sometimes depending on which college they go to, students might be lucky and are able to schedule their exams. But, that’s not the case for graduate school (or at least for mine). It’s not as lenient and there’s a set curriculum that graduate students need to follow (with the exception of electives), so we didn’t have the opportunity to pick and choose which classes we wanted to take and when and how we wanted to take them. During my first year in optometry school, I was bombarded with a bunch of hard classes and long labs. On top of that, I worked part-time at an optometrist’s clinic. Luckily, the study habits I picked up during my undergraduate days helped me score well in all my classes!
