Episode 18 concludes our exploration of the former Bandung-Majalaya railway line. In this video, besides easily finding KAI markers along the former railway line, we continue our journey to the former Majalaya station site, which can still be clearly seen on the former Bandung-Majalaya railway line. The Dayeuhkolot (Bandung)-Majalaya line opened on March 3, 1922. This line was deactivated in 1942 after some of its track components were dismantled by Japanese romusha workers. The Bandung-Majalaya railway line only lasted 20 years. Although listed in the names, codes, and abbreviations of the stations and stops, the Indonesian Railways Department was unable to revive this line, so only abbreviations were created.
