Finally Painting the Chassis Gold! (And running out of paint...)

We’ve finally reached the milestone I’ve been waiting for: painting the chassis! In this update, Jayne takes over the spray gun to help transform the frame with a bold gold finish. It wasn't all smooth sailing, though—from record-breaking heatwaves and surprise thunderstorms to the classic mistake of running out of paint halfway through a bank holiday weekend. I also share a bit about my experience with autism and sensory sensitivities, particularly how this heat affects the build process. In this video: Finishing the prep and 3D printing custom masking bungs. Jane takes on the first few coats of primer and base coat. Dealing with heat, thunderstorms, and a "paint-less" Sunday. A quick look at painting the engine and steering components. Why I’m feeling pretty chuffed with how this build is looking. Drop a comment below and let us know what you think of the gold! Also, please leave some words of encouragement for Jane—she’s worked incredibly hard on this!
