Aki Plays Subnautica (BLIND) - Episode 5 [2017 Attempt]

ORIGINAL RECORD DATE: October 29th, 2017. Right around when i started my own Subnautica Let's Play just prior to its full release, I had Aki (Known as Kasaii at the time) sit down to play it as well, with it being streamed to me live. Much like the others, these "Aki Plays" series are sort of like sub-Let's Plays. They framed and work in the same way, but are being played by Aki, not me. I'm just a viewer in the experience. However, as I always say, this means that I have no control over whether Aki continues or completes these. More importantly, when. Just incase the series ends abruptly without any continuation for long periods of time. I've held onto this footage for a long time. The first portion of the series was recorded all the way back in late 2017, nearly 9 years ago as I'm publishing. This save file was pre-full release and would make up Aki's first attempt. In early 2018, the game would exit Early Access and Aki would start a new file, birthing the 2018 attempt. This would also not conclude, leading to a third attempt later, and so on. The way this was recorded was rough, originally at least. Much like a lot of other Aki Plays footage from before I had a dual monitor setup. This one was much rougher though, as it predated Discord's streaming mode. So Aki would actually use Teamviewer to broadcast to me, while I used Bandicam's screen capture mode to record. This lead to choppy framerates, poor resolution, and screen tearing. I had to crop the footage to focus in on the gameplay, as personal information was on display at all times otherwise. This applies only to the 2017 & 2018 attempts. NOTE: This Let's Play is marked as "BLIND". Which means it is Aki's first time playing & experiencing the game. Expect mistakes. It is not new for me, but my entertainment comes from viewing Aki's playthrough live.
